Canyoning in the Dordogne valley
From beginners to advanced, come canyoning exclusively in Corrèze and in the heart of the Dordogne valley .
Escapade Nature Pays d’Argentat is the only organization offering canyoning activities in the area. During the activity, we’ll be together and discover some of the wildest places in Corrèze. The canyons of the Dordogne valley are located within a 30-minute drive from Argentat. In exceptional and wild environments, the canyons of Corrèze are true natural oases. We’ll be constantly surrounded by lush greenery, typical of Corrèze. Canyoning in the Dordogne valley, with thick moss decorations and constant contact with oak, beech, chestnut, or beech forests, makes it possible to see all kinds of wild animals, starting with crayfish!
Aquatrekking: Jumps and Slides – 2 to 2.5 hours.
Adventure Route: Waterfall rappelling, Jumps and Slides.

Equipment provided: Wetsuit + neoprene socks, helmet, harness. For the group: a canyoning bag + a waterproof container for carrying water and snacks!
Equipment to bring: Closed shoes that stay on your feet, a water bottle per person, towel, a snack (cereal bars…) and a picnic if you choose the Adventure package.
Period: All year round, depending on weather conditions. For safety and professionalism, you are supervised by experienced and qualified Canyoning instructors.

Canyoning Supervision
Abseiling, jumping, and aquatic walking are what await you during your canyoning outing.
Discovery Route: €45/person.
Our Canyoning Découverte formula offers a first introduction for all beginner adults and children. Duration approximately 2.5 hours.
The ideal formula for the first time! Our route offers everything canyoning needs to fully enjoy sensations without fear: jumping, sliding! Accessible from 10 years old. Minimum 6 people.
Adventure Route: €55 per person.
With the Canyoning Aventure formula, those familiar with canyoning or the most adventurous people will be delighted with a much sportier route.
Discover the lower part of the most iconic canyon in the area: Les gorges du Chal. This part of the canyon is aquatic, but includes all the practices of canyoning! Progress is made on foot, by sliding, but also by abseiling. The end is magnificent as the stream flows into the Dordogne at the Chastang reservoir. The end of the route can be capped with a jump from a small road bridge directly into the Dordogne! Very sporty approach walk of 30 minutes. Minimum 6 people.
